Reading the Earth: Multidisciplinary Approaches to Teach Climate Literacy – A free virtual PD series for 6th-12th Grade ELA & Science Teachers

Through a partnership with the Piedmont Environmental Alliance and Wake Forest University Department of Education, and sponsored by a Wake Forest University Sabin Center CEES grant, comes an exciting virtual PD series for 6-12th grade ELA & Science teachers.

Participants will understand climate literacy and climate science, investigate NCSCOS connections, explore curricular resources for ELA and science classrooms, and develop curricular activities and lessons that can be implemented. 

Interested participants should complete this brief application form by Friday, September 11. Applicants will be notified by Wednesday, September 16th if they have been accepted.
