News Literacy course taught by Professor Justin Catanoso

Professor Justin Catanoso is teaching a course called “News Literacy” within the Journalism Program at Wake Forest. The course is designed to teach students how to become more discerning consumers of news, and it seeks to help students recognize the difference between news and propaganda, news and opinion, fairness and bias, verification and assertion, and evidence and inference when in news content.
