Young, Gifted and Black exhibition at Hanes Gallery, January 23-March 29, 2025

Hanes Gallery is thrilled to host Young, Gifted and Black, a traveling exhibition of work produced by artists of African descent from the Lumpkin-Boccuzzi Family Collection of Contemporary Art. 

The exhibition will run from January 23 – March 29, 2025. Wake Forest University will be the 9th stop for this nationwide traveling exhibition that only exhibits at academic institutions. 

The Lumpkin-Boccuzzi Family Collection features a range of contemporary artworks in all media. Established and emerging artists of African descent predominate, with a special emphasis on younger voices of the last 25 years.
