On Thursday, December 5th, from 11:00am to 1:45pm, Dr. Ali Sakkal and his EDU 311 (Learning & Cognitive Science) students displayed models of learning spaces they designed and built in the WakerSpace using 3-D printing, laser cutting, vinyl, and woodworking.

Dr. Sakkal received one of the first grants from the Center for Literacy Education. The funds will allow him to teach a new class called Literacy in Action and purchase new tools and design materials for WakerSpace.

Here you can see photos from previous WakerSpace events.
